Trusting your fragile newborn is a difficult decision and requires an extremely high responsibility, which is our priority and we give priority to the correct handling and comfortable feeling of your newborn, which is why the parents are always involved in the process of photographing the newborn itself. It is also the most beautiful to see a newborn in the arms of their parents or when they are being cuddled in one of the baby blankets, so photographing a newborn is a unique and unrepeatable experience.

Terms and conditions

Most newborn photography takes place in the first 10-14 days after the baby is born. At this stage, your baby can be put into those sleepy curled up positions you see in the gallery. After two weeks, it is still possible to photograph your newborn, but babies tend to be less sleepy and want to stretch, so some poses may not be feasible. Therefore, it is most recommended to photograph your newborn in the first two weeks of his life.

Due to the ease of organization, especially availability, it is ideal, or desirable, to book newborn photography already during pregnancy. However, if you do not succeed, you can still ask about the availability of an appointment by emailing pik@pikstudio.si.

Photography takes place in the warmth of your home, where you have everything you need to take care of your newborn at your fingertips and, above all, it provides an even more relaxed atmosphere for you and your child. In order to ensure ideal conditions for the photo shoot, we will reach with a prior conversation and mobile studio equipment.

Before the photo shoot, let's talk about styles and the appropriate conditions for execution. Together we will capture a series of authentic photos that you will cherish forever. The photo shoot can last up to 4 hours, as this process also includes time for the healthy care and well-being of your newborn. One newborn session is held daily to ensure a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. When booking an appointment, you will receive exact instructions and conditions for taking photos.
